Update on Title IX Regulations

On April 29, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education published new Title IX regulations to go into effect starting August 1, 2024. However, the new regulations have faced multiple legal injunctions impacting the ability for the Department of Education to enforce the regulations at hundreds of colleges and universities, including Carroll University. Until the court system or the US Department of Education provides updates, Carroll University is putting any changes to the Title IX Policy on hold and will maintain current policies and grievance procedures that comply with the 2020 Title IX regulations. Despite the current regulatory uncertainties, our dedication to providing a secure and discrimination-free learning, living, and working environment for our University community remains unwavering.
